“Your mentality shapes your reality. When you stress out, things will stress out around you. Always control your thoughts and pacify any unnecessary stress. Control your vibrations and you are the master of your own harmony.”
― Suzy Kassem
Why it all matters
“A body in motion tends to stay in motion; a body at rest tends to stay at rest.”
This is one of the first rules of science that was universally recognized as truth. This law is particularly true for Human bodies and all the energy they produce. Seeing that the body produces carbon-based energies, it also discharges vibrations and frequencies. This phenomenon is known more commonly as vibrational energy.
For more clarity, let’s discuss some of the common vibrations the body creates on a regular basis. Take into consideration the heart as it thumps; it follows a tempo of rhythms. The vibrational energy of the heart pushes blood throughout the body. Even the process of laying down to sleep and waking up routinely (known as a circadian rhythm) is a form of creating vibrational energies. Vibrations even exist when they cannot be seen. Take something as solid as a steel anvil for instance; there are thousands of vibrations occurring from all the atoms– which are bonding together to maintain that anvil’s shape.
Matter is defined as:
That which occupies space and has mass; physical substance.
Take for example, yourself. Or possibly the device that is being used to display this page, maybe even the table close by, or the chair being occupied. Even the sounds of music consist of atoms that vibrate through the very thin air (which is also made of matter).
Consider the way your body responds as soon as your favorite song starts playing on the radio. Do you smile? Do you want to dance and sing along? What kind of memories or feelings arise when you are listening? Your favorite song is on a frequency of vibrations known as Hertz. The heart also beats on its own frequency as well, thus creating its own channel of Hertz. This is why music is easy to relate to when a certain set of feelings, or thoughts are desired.
Have you ever been in a room with several people when, suddenly, someone new enters and abruptly alters the way the energy of the air feels? Maybe you just received extreme news (good or bad) and unexpectedly, your state of being radically changes. This is the result of the vibrations in your body changing to a different frequency. Maybe that boppy jazz music isn’t feeling so fitting as it was momentarily ago. Vibrations can be unforeseen, and change drastically; sometimes, even with the blink of an eye.
Learning vibrational control of thoughts, feelings, and emotions helps encourage a more conscious way of being
Practicing positive activities like gratitude on a daily basis can increase the vibrational frequency of thought patterns, which in return allows for more positive energy to be created. Even the Sun radiates energy down from space to all of life on Earth. It is important to be aware of all energy. “Tuning in” to a frequency can be taken quite figuratively as guidance. Much like turning the dial to your favorite radio stations, the same can be done with our bodies.
“Dialing in” to this awareness requires mindful practice. Activities such as meditation and deep breathing allow the brain waves to become familiar with occurring thoughts as they ebb and flow. In some meditations, Oms are chanted. These great vibrations retune numerous regularities in the body to the Hertz of the chant. It is not much different than singing along with your favorite songs. Singing sends vibrational waves through the head and then out of the mouth to the pitch of the melody.
Whatever sound is being made; the body can become harmonized with vibrational energy.
Understanding the ways vibrational energy acts in the force of life helps achieve harmony. The next time you are undergoing uninvited energies, consider how to “tune-in” with the moment and change the frequency of the channel. Hum a joyful tune– or a blue one if you’d prefer. Deliberate the onset of new energy waves vibrating through your body.
Fascinating isn’t it?
